Mission Statement

It is EFECOT âs mission to optimize the education of occupational travellers in Europe. By occupational travellers we mean all people who travel for their profession and do not have a fixed house for this reason.

The main groups of occupational travellers are:

• bargee communities
• circus communities
• fairground communities
• seasonal workers.

To achieve its mission, EFECOT co-operates with a large variety of organisations in a European Network. Most activities are carried out with the support of the European Commission.
